Tom McKee

Educational Background

My name is Tom McKee. This is my sixth year as the Superintendent at Whitefish Township Community Schools and year thirteenth in the field of education. I am a life-long resident of the Eastern Upper Peninsula. I am a 2004 graduate of Rudyard High School. I have earned my Master of Arts in School Administration through Central Michigan University. My Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education also comes from Central Michigan University. I have also earned the State of Michigan Central Office Endorsement through the Michigan Association of Superintendents and Administrators.

I believe that education is the only way to better the future for our children and at Whitefish Township this is what I am going to strive to do. Working together, we will help all of the students we encounter become better students, but more importantly, better people.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and have two children. When I am not working I enjoy playing softball, golfing, playing with my kids, and reffing high school football. Feel free to contact me at tmckee@eupschools.org or 906-492-3353.
